Patient Profile
In order to admit an individual to our Children’s Program, all of the below criteria must be
met:
• 5 - 12 years of age
• IQ of at least a 70 average. Must be cognitively able to benefit from the program
•
Physically able to participate in program
• Currently requires 24 hour nursing care supervised by Licensed Nurse for
management of behaviors
• Past failures at home, school,
community or another placement
• A DSM IV Psychiatric diagnosis
with maladaptive and/or harmful
behaviors requiring residential level
of care
• Behaviors/emotional issues require
consistent regular psychiatric and/or
medical attention
